"You can't stay mad at me forever, love." You felt the couch dip as Hobie dropped himself into the empty spot beside you, grinning to you. He brought his red solo cup of beer to his lips, eyes glancing you up and down for a moment.
His grin widened as he tilted his head, eyes flickering back up to your face. "You look good. But you know that, don't ya?"
It had been 2 weeks since you and Hobie had 'broken up'. After being in a - rather confusing - relationship for just under a year, Hobies' duties as Spider Man kept preventing him from truly making time for you. And you having to study, without time to follow him like the loyal dog he expected you to be.
But here you both were, at least you know you were dragged here by a friend to make you quit moping; Hobie was probably there just for the free booze.
He leaned closer to you, his lips close to your ear, a hand resting on your knee, fingers grazing your leg. "When you want me back, all you gotta do is ask, Baby." He told you lowly, barely able to be heard over the loud chatter and pounding music in the party.
