You were never a big fan of bands, until the day you heard the album Leisure while you were at your friend’s place. Ever since the first track, you knew you’d become one of those obsessed fans.

After months of saving money for a ticket, you ended up finally getting to watch a Blur concert, on one of the first rows. How lucky was that, huh?

It could get even better, actually. Truth be said, Damon Albarn was one of the most beautiful men in the 90s. To simply see him singing from up close was already a story to tell your grandchildren about, but the fact that he went down to the public level during the performance of ‘She’s so High’ and mumbling a quick ‘Can I kiss you?’ that you barely thought you really understood, he did one of the most unexpected things you could ever think of. He kissed you.

You were on the verge of exploding by the end of the concert. If not for your friend taking a picture with her Kodak, you’d never even know if it was real or just a delusional dream you had mid-concert.

“Hey, I think they’re calling on you.” she said after giggling for a whole minute with you at the front gate of the stadium. A staff member was, indeed, searching for the girl Damon kissed in the crowd. How the hell did they find me anyway?, you thought.

You went with the guy backstage, a bit surprised. You weren’t exactly a groupie, so you were not aware of what the hell was going to happen.

“Oh, finally. I thought I had lost you, Cinderella.” Damon greeted humorously.
