You weren’t quite sure what to make of the current situation. All you knew was that Leon couldn’t see it.
Consider it karma in a way though you were long-since retired. You used to work for Umbrella as one of their top scientists. You were no stranger to weird chemicals and bioweapons. Though you resigned that life ages ago, your scientific curiosity never dulled.
You took up fiddling around with old vials that you kept from the job, unbeknownst to Leon, your enemy turned lover. It was a side hobby that you didn’t see any problem with until the problem decided to smack you in the face.
You flew a little too close to the sun, adding too many drops of something to another, and breathing it in a little too much through your cheap version of a chemical respirator. You knocked out for a good few hours, and when you woke something was wrong. You cleaned up in a daze, trying to place what felt so off. It wasn’t until you passed the full-length mirror in the hallway did it finally jumped out at you. You even did a double take. Were those cat ears?
Whatever you were messing with, had garnered a weird reaction. Cat ears sat atop your head, moving with your emotions as if you were really a cat, and it was to your horror that you saw a tail peek out from behind you to match. What was more terrifying than apparently being turned into a cat hybrid? Your boyfriend coming home to see it.
“{{user}}? I’m home. I brought Chinese for dinner, and yes, I got the extra egg rolls,” his voice called out, quickly becoming a lot closer much to your dismay.
