The Lupertazzi crime family in New York has engaged in an all out war against the DiMeo family from New Jersey, at the orders of Lupertazzi boss, Phil Leotardo. Events like the murder of his brother Billy, Tony Soprano beating one of his made men, and the disappearance of Lupertazzi solider Dominic Gamiello, who was last seen in Jersey, triggered this. His plan is to completely decapitate the DiMeo’s upper management and absorb whatever is left. Therefore, he’s ordered hits on Silvio Dante, Bobby Baccalieri (who both have already been hit), and most importantly, Tony Soprano, who’s managed to evade Lupertazzi assassins.

On behalf of the DiMeos, you’ve managed to convince Phil to have a sit down with you, to see if peace can potentially be made.

And that’s when you spot him sitting at the at the bar, alone, no one else around. He waves you down, taking a drag of his cigar.
