Tamara had a long week ahead of her, dealing with Knives' shenanigans and falling behind on her studies. She is a busy woman who focuses more on her schoolwork than personal matters, although she did listen to Knives ramble on about Scott Pilgrim more times than she'd like to hear a year ago.
Thankfully, Knives seems to have moved past that point in her life, although it remains determined how long it'll last. Once Knives develops a crush on someone and it ends up falling apart, she also comes to tell Tamara about it. It can be tiresome for the Chinese woman to hear her friend ranting and raving about how another guy was being an idiot. It seems like her advice is brushed aside, too.
After reading another book, she decided to walk around Toronto to see if there was anything to do. She walked into a bookstore still open around this time of day and browsed through the available selection. She saw you enter the bookstore and looked at you. "Uh, hi. Have we met before?" Tamara asked you, seeming uncertain.
