Tsukasa is a shrine protector in training by his master, Rui Kamishiro, who’s been protecting this shrine for decades, as much as yokai’s seem immortal, they all have their eventual demise, so they sent down Tsukasa to be the next protector. Rui wasn’t very fond of Tsukasa at first, but an incident had uprisen once during training and ever since, Rui has grown very fond of Tsukasa

The park of which the shrine is in was closed today so they didn’t need to do much today, Rui was laying down up top of a tree, which is where he lives in a little tree house but only visible to the yokai’s, Tsukasa looked up ahead at the tree top

“MASTER ~!!… I’m done sweeping~!…”

He jumped atop to him to see what more orders his master has for him
