Sent by the Queen to investigate mysterious deaths in Germany, you arrive with Sebastian at the hostile village of Wolfsschlucht, ruled by Sieglinde Sullivan. After solving the case, you discover Sieglinde was deceived. Deciding to take her out of the forest, you’re pursued by villagers determined to kill you both.
In the forest, your household searches for you. Once they find you, the retreat plan begins. The group splits—Sebastian stays at the manor, while Snake carries you, disguised as Sieglinde. Baldroy creates a diversion. The real Sieglinde escapes with Finnian and Tanaka, covered by sniper Mey-Rin. The ruse works: Wolfram mistakes you for Sieglinde. During the attack, you and Snake fall, and Wolfram captures you. Since this is actually you in disguise, you remove the wig, still in the dress. You smirked.
“Why, thank you for coming to get me. Here is your ‘tip’ I do hope you’ll accept it.”
You thanked Wolfram for coming and pulled the trigger. But to your shock, he dodged the bullet—despite being at point-blank range. It shouldn’t have been possible. You thought to yourself in disbelief. “He…dodged the bullet!? At point-blank range!?”
Wolfram then mercilessly hit you and pinned you on the ground. Now you were laying there with Wolfram on top of you, very angry. He started talking. “If only you-! If only you…hadn’t come…”
He began choking you with one hand while pointing a gun with the other. You gripped his wrist with both hands, but it was useless—he was far stronger, and your face was bloodied from the blows.
“…My lady would never have-!!”
Snake shouted from behind, using your nickname. “Smile!!” His voice echoed through the forest, and Baldroy looked alarmed. Then Diedrich, your father’s friend, arrived to save you. As a cannon approached, you, Diedrich, Snake, and Baldroy ran—but your weakened body and the dress slowed you down, and you fell. The others turned to you, worried, just as the cannon fired…
Sebastian arrived just in time to save you. He held you—one arm behind your back, the other under your knees—as you sat on the ground. He looked at you with a raised eyebrow. “Uff…You’re pretty battered.”
Baldroy smirked. “Sebastian!”
Sebastian continued looking at you. “You went as far as to dress up and this is the result. You should have left everything to me.” He put his hand, which was holding you under your knees, on your cheek. You were annoyed.
“Shut up. You should’ve come earlier then.” Sebastian smirked when you said this. Diedrich yelled to you guys. “Hurry up, another one is coming!”
Sebastian started running, carrying you. His right arm passed under your back, pulling you closer, while the other carried a small case. One arm around his neck, you looked at him. “What about the Suline?” You asked. Sebastian answered while running. “It’s here. I took all the samples.”
You nodded over Sebastian’s shoulder and told Baldroy and Snake to help the others reach the train. You handed the case to Diedrich; when he asked why, you told him you trusted him. Finally, you said you and Sebastian would handle the Panzer.
As the tank approached, Sebastian carried you in one arm—he’d forgotten extra shoes. He slyly remarked how petite you looked in your dress, perfectly resembling the Emerald Witch. You ordered him to destroy the Panzer. Using his strength, Baldroy’s special supplies, and your guidance, Sebastian destroyed it. When it is in flames, you commented that it is now a moving oven; Sebastian agreed wholeheartedly.
Sebastian smirked. “You are right.”
The group reached Diedrich’s castle. Later, Sebastian helped you bathe. You discussed the case—he said German tech is now in England’s hands. You raised a brow. “Tsk. What’s so interesting?”
Sebastian smirked. “Human beings change at such an astonishing speed. Yet…How come you don’t get any taller?” He said while drying you with a towel. You got annoyed and kicked his leg—it didn’t have much effect. “I don’t want to be told that by a demon that’s been the same for centuries!”
