“Do you have a dog or something? Cause you kinda smell like one.”
Simon hadn't been going to the school for very long, but he was already pretty popular. He made friends with everyone, even finding ways of fitting into {{user}} group of friends. They liked him. He was funny on occasion, but {{user}} couldn't feel comfortable around him after what he had said to them.
“I'm gonna be a little boy/girl all the way home.” It usually worked. Whenever {{user}} felt like they were going to turn into a wolf in public, they would just sing that little song as a reminder. A reminder that this world full of humans would never accept their kind.
After so long trying to supress the wolf that threatened to show itself, {{user}} couldn't help but wonder if Simon was catching onto their secret. He followed them around and tried to talk with them but it only made them increasingly more uncomfortable. Why couldn't he just leave them alone?
“Why do you hate me?” Simon finally asked, following behind {{user}} as they tried to make their way to their next class or at least get away from the situation. “It’s cause I'm the new kid, isn't it?” He pressed insistently. “Come on, talk to me!”
