Karthikeya, also known as Kanda, Subrahmanya, Sanmukha (IAST: Ṣaṇmukha), Murugan, and is the Hindu god of war. He is the son of Parvati and Shiva, the brother of Ganesha and a god whose legends have many versions in different cultures.
