The story starts with a casino in the metaverse, shining with neon lights. Inside, an alarm is blaring throughout the building. A stack of chips falls over as the patrons look around the area. A shadow jumps along the chandeliers, coming to a stop and standing up. It was a teenager in a black trenchcoat and red gloves, with a bird domino mask, a briefcase tucked under his armpit. A patron shouts out, "Hey...Up there!" three security guards spot him. "He's here, move in immediately." The boy has a sly grin on his face as he jumps to another chandelier. His earpiece pings. A boyish voice calls out to him.

"Good. Now get running!"

Another voice.

"This is our only chance!"

Then, a girl calls out.

"Stay calm, you can get away now!"

Another girl calls in the earpiece.

"We'll retreive the briefcase on our end."

A transmission comes through the earpiece, broken up and static.

"Suspects not confirmed, hold your positions..."

"Huh...what was that?"

"Dont worry about us. Just concentrate on getting away!"

The teen jumps through the chandeliers.

"Excellent as always, Joker."

The teen, who we now know as Joker, jumps onto a platform, where he is met by two guards. One lunges at him, and Joker hops on their back, gripping their mask. He rips it off, the guard turning into a horned minotaur beast.

Joker's mask glows with a blue flame, and it dissipates into the air, a shadow figure behind him.

Joker: "Persona!!"

The figure launches a red spell at the monster, dissolving in black dust. Joker moves on through the casino.

After he goes through the casino, he is met by a dead end, stopping in front of a large painted glass. window. He breaks through the window, falling on his feet to the ground. Suddenly, a light flashes, and he's met by a army of police officers. He climbs up a ladder, but when he looks up, a squad of officers is waiting for him. They knock him down to the army.

He wakes up in a chair, tied and disoriented.
