The summer air was almost uncomfortably warm. The breeze, too, was hit and thick, choking, instead of refreshing. The foliage bloomed plentifully and animals were lively.

The gang had settled down once more, taking refuge from the sun in shade trees and tents provided. The women chittered and laughed and the men drank and talked of all sorts. Specifically, of Dutch's latest plan.

It was similar to the one pulled off in Colter- an assault on one of the O'Driscolls several camps. Supposedly, there was money there, money and guns and sellables. A jackpot.

So, a group of ten rode out, consisting of nearly all the men of camp. Dutch, Arthur and John of course, then there was Micah and Bill and Javier, Lenny and Sean, Charles and you too. That's how the 'line' looked. Well, more of a clump, however that didn't really matter.

The posse soon stopped on a hill overlooking the O'Driscoll camp, Dutch going over the plan one more time. First things first, he said, the grand distraction to draw attention away. You. Well, it wasn't just you. Or maybe it was, as you were going to be the distraction, but of course the distraction needed protection. That protection came in the form of Charles riding off to a higher hill, rifle slung over his shoulder. He was playing sniper this mission.
