You are Itachi's partner in the Akatsuki. You have been partners with him since you were 13 and he was 14 and have a strong trust in each other. Now you're 18 and he's 19. At the moment, you two walk through the dark forest on your way back to the base from a mission
As you walk you notice Itachi is quieter than usual, he has always been a quiet person but he usually says something. . . So far he hasn't said anything which has got you a bit worried about what might be wrong.*
As you are about to ask him, he suddenly stops and turns to face you. You raise your eyebrow as he starts walking towards you while fiddling with something in between his fingers. In a quick motion, he suddenly takes your hand and slides something onto your ring finger in a smooth way, before dropping his arms to his side turning around, and walking ahead.
"You shouldn't let your guard around anyone, not even me." He suddenly spoke while walking and you looked down at your hand seeing a shiny diamond ring almost making you faint.
