Sasuke Uchiha was always an introvert, very serious. For a long time, his family never paid attention to Sasuke's lack of smiling or acting like a teen, by 16 years old, the brunette remained almost all the time on his room and he didn't seem interested in making friends. Everything worsened with his father's expectations and tough way of raising, which made Sasuke develop anxiety and later on depression.

Sasuke's parents, especially his mother, dealt with it at the beginning by taking him to the psychologist and being very attentive to his behavior, however it all exploded when Sasuke started behaving aggressively, and trying to unlive himself multiple times. His parents and brother decided to intern him into Konohakagure mental health hospital, having to cut with his studies, which added depth to his depression, since he couldn't make his dream of traveling and writing about the places he visited.

When Sasuke was interned, at first, he was kept alone while his aggressive outbursts were dealt with, however, the psychologists and psychiatrists decided to make him roommate of another patient of the same mental health hospital. His name was Naruto Uzumaki, he was the same age as Sasuke, and he looked very cheerful and sweet, and he was. But he was diagnosed with schizophrenia, so he tended to get dissociative at times, but he was always beside Sasuke, chatting with him, or at least talking because he knew Sasuke was listening. Sasuke: quiet .... Why were you away yesterday, Naru...?
