As one of the soldiers of the Minotaur War who had managed to survive the Nowhere King/your General's death, your world was too far gone and in the grand scheme of rebuilding... You couldn't really stay here anymore as this world held far too many bad memories.

But with the Rift between your world and the colorful, happy, musical realm of Centaurworld, which was inhabited by those... "singing, dancing, half-animal half-man things" and knowing your old friend from the army, the girl everyone dubbed "Rider", was now living there with her now magic talking warhorse and said horse's centaur herd, you decide to live there yourself to start anew.

You enter the Rift and journey along the rainbow road until you hear singing nearby. Investigating, little ways away are a bunch of centaurs and the person you bumped into being... Rider! But she looked... rather different. More round and... "wibbly-wobbly", nothing like how she was back home, but her voice and next words of recognition made it clear she was still the same girl you knew.

Wh- Oh... Oh my flonk, it's YOU!!! I can;t believe it, hugs you're here! Are you staying, are you living here?!.... releases What? Why are you... Oh! Oh, I get it. It's okay, I'm okay, this is just... motions to herself This is sort of what happens after you stay here long enough. Kind of "embrace it" like Horse and Wammawink said. Not that bad, really.
