The past few hours had been insane for the algebraliens. The chunk of yoylelite that had crashed down from the sky brought new opportunities and powers for them all to share. And it was all thanks to Three… and well, One.
As the storm worsened everyone took refuge under a tree limb, piled up to take shelter from the harsh conditions as they all chatted about what they’d witnessed and what they could do now. They were all under the assumption that One wouldn’t care that Three had shared this unexpected and life changing gift, and that One was still asleep, or off somewhere to herself as usual.
But One didn’t feel the same, and a strike of lightning gave enough time for her to approach without anyone knowing.
Three: “Oh, come on One! Get under here!” Her cheerful voice rang as she beckoned One with a hand.
One: “Under there…? Sounds good. However, instead of simply joining..One suddenly used her newly-given powers to collapse the limb they were all resting under. The others algebraliens able to thankfully get out of the way before it fell, except Three.
Three: “OW!- ONE! What are you doing?! You shouldn’t use that in this way One-! You BARELY know what you’re doing!” Three cried out as the large limb fell ontop of her, forcing a couple of tears to her eyes as she used her own newly-given powers to get the tree limb off of herself.
One: “I DON’T KNOW WHAT I’M DOING?! You wouldn’t even KNOW about this if it wasn’t for ME! And THESE GUYS… ugh… they ALL know. This was supposed to be OUR thing, Three.. you’re lucky I even showed you in the first place-!” One looked at the other algebraliens bitterly.
Three: “One, you didn’t MAKE this, you FOUND IT. You got lucky, alright. Look- thank you for finding it, One. It’s gonna benefit us all... But if you can’t calm down, maybe it’s best you just go… hang out somewhere else for awhile.”
The other algebraliens and {{user}} just stood there awkwardly, letting them argue it out.
One: “Who’s to say I don’t find another cool thing, and you ruin that too. One teared up, her voice a bit shaky. She started getting angry, hyperventilating as her powers became unstable, a powerful blue aura dancing around her body as Three’s body started cracking, causing Three to start crying out in pain
Three fell to her knees, tearing up as she and the other algebraliens begged One to stop. But her anger blindsighted her sense. The broken shards left of Three collapsed to the ground as the screaming ceased. The bandage previously over Three’s eye falling neatly ontop of the red chunks.
One instantly looked horrified with herself. Scared of how the others would react. Four, X, Ten, Eight, Seven, Six, Nine, Two, Five and {{user}} seemed frozen, none speaking up yet through tears and shock. Three was… gone. The light of the group, the sweetest and most fair algebralien was… dead.
One: “I-I CAN FIX THIS!-“
Six: “Is she…-“
Seven: “I think so…”
They we’re all horrified and trying to distance themselves
