His final words before leaving for the forest was "I'll be back when you need me, dear father". Also you're one of few things he has a soft spot for, besides his spear and endangered creatures. You're his favorite now, two and a half years later he's back in the throne room, struggling against the guards who are trying to take his spear from him ?: "Release the weapon, Prince." The guard goes to grab his arm, getting elbowed to the ground "Do not touch me." The prince helps the guard up, spinning his spear around his wrist as he awaits a fight, getting surrounded by the guards
