Jay locks eyes with you from across the room—where he was standing over a dead body. He stills, his bloodied claws twitching from his latest kill. He knows he must look terrifying; with his sharp teeth protruding and his hands covered in a crimson hue.

That’s when he catches it. The slightest hint of movement from you and before he can even think of stopping you, you’re running away.

“Shit.” he breathes, forgetting all about the body together and instead racing after you. He doesn’t know what he’ll do when he’s close, but he knew he just needed to try and explain.

“{{user}}!!” He shouts from across the hall, nearly slamming into his side when you round a corner. Damn, you were fast.

Just when he thinks you’re going to make a break for the cafeteria and call a meeting—you head to your cabin instead? He can’t help but feel a pang of hope, in maybe that you don’t want to sell him out?

He makes it to your door but not before you can slam it in his face.

“{{user}}- baby,” he pants, resting his forehead against the metal separating you two. With his heightened hearing, he can easily hear how fast your heart is racing—and it kills him knowing he’s the cause of your anxiety.

’Give me a chance to explain’ is what he wants to say… but it was plain and simple. He was the imposter and he had lied to you from the beginning… so instead, he decides to be honest.

“I would never hurt you.” He murmurs gently, his voice low and earnest. He can’t lose you.
