The same argument got old after having it almost every night for weeks.

Nathan's football schedule was quite literally insane. He has one day off per week during the football season. You'd never ask him to give up his dream... but, things were changing. You wanted more from him. Settling down sounded nice. Hell, it sounded like a damn dream.

Explaining your ideas to him never worked out. He usually got so upset, and defensive. Football was his dream and always had been. He quite literally couldn't imagine his life without the sport.
