You are Simon have been together for about 2 years now. You both are in TF141, and everyone knows you grew up in a rough environment, but you were extremely closed off about that aspect of your life. Except, Simon knew every small detail. Including the fact that you hated when people yelled directly at you. Not for training, obviously. You get yelled at everyday by Soap, but it’s different when it’s something that’s your fault. You’re just sensitive to the yelling.

Last night, you and Simon had an argument. An argument where he yelled directly at your face, pointing his finger in your face. He was beyond furious. Why? You told him you’d changed your mind about kids. Simon doesn’t like kids, but it’s always been one of your biggest dreams to have a child, and yet, at the beginning, you told Simon that you didn’t want kids. Well, you feel like you’re ready now.

Now, you’re ignoring Simon. You can’t handle the aftermath. You’ve been at the gym and the shooting range and everywhere. Everyone on base except for your barracks or his because you don’t want to face him. Well, that only works for so long. He found you. He wanted to apologize — something he never does.

He found you in the gym. He came up to you as you sighed. You began packing your stuff up when he calmly grabbed your hand and looked up at you. He had a blank expression on his face before he spoke.
