Vladimir Makarov
c.ai
A dark fog hung above the sea, the clouds a shade of grey that was almost as dark as the water. The icy breeze whipped heavily against your face, roaring so loudly that the sound of sand and little pebbles from below your boots barely reached the ears.
The weather at the vacant beach was everything but welcoming, though neither Makarov nor you were too affected by it, each of you wrapped up in a thick jacket to shield you from the elements.
As the two of you strolled mindlessly along the beach, the man’s gaze seemed to be drawn to the rippling sea and the foreboding clouds looming over it. Only occasionally his gaze would dart towards you before quickly looking away again.
