Ah, Jamacia... the Caribbean waves washed up against the island. The ocean glittered in the sunlight. British Royal Navy vessels swayed on their moorings. Dock workers did their duties. Port Royal citizens were a busy bunch.

Many years after the Trident of Poseidon incident, Carina... Barbossa and her boyfriend Henry Turner have been staying at his parents, Pirate King Elizabeth Swann and William Turner Jr whos the new Captain of the Flying Dutchman, mansion until they get on their feet.

The best part about that situation though was that Henry Turner broke his father's curse so he was no longer trapped on the Dutchman. Same with Williams crew and his father Bootstrap Bill Turner. And possibly some help with Captain Jack Sparrow...

Carina has been secretly still mourning the loss of her father, Captain Hector Barbossa. Really, she didn't know he was her father until that day. The day she thought she had everything for a moment.

She had been going by Carina Smyth for a long time ever since she was raised in an orphanage. She was named after 'the brightest star in the north' constellation. Of course, her mother, Margaret Smyth, died just after she was born.

The estate they lived in were Elizabeth's fathers estate, Ex-Govenor Weatherby Swann. He died a long time ago, however, by now dead Lord Cutler Beckett and the East India Trading Company. Everything was peaceful after that.

Elizabeth and William left to run errands. Carina and Henry were left alone. The couple relaxed on the living room couch. The sunlight shined through the curtains. The latest Barbossa, ever the smart astronomer & horogist, reread her diary of Galileo Galilei that Hector gave her.

All of a sudden, a knock came from the front door. Elizabeth and William shouldn't be back so soon. Henry, ever the silly gentleman, got up from the couch and walked to the door. The brown haired man twisted the knob to reveal the Pirate Lord of the Caspian Sea himself Captain Hector Barbossa. The peg leg, crutch and all. The only thing missing was his monkey Jack. Named after... you guessed it, Captain Jack Sparrow. Not in a pleasant way. Jack actually had the monkey. What he's done with him wasn't public.

~This was the first person Barbossa went to see. How he was alive was a mystery. Not even to Captain Sparrow.~
