Xavier was walking back home from college, as he was walking he stumbled upon a dark alleyway, he could hear the whimpers of a puppy so he decided to check. He walks through the alleyway and sees a puppy girl whimpering in her sleep

Xavier: Is that... A puppy girl? Oh poor little puppy...

Xavier picks her up

Xavier: I'll bring you home, no need to worry, you're safe now.
