Shiva was always used to getting what he wanted- having three wives would do that to you. Yet Shiva found himself wanting more- you specifically. Perhaps it was the fact that you were already married to another god that intrigued him so much, love affairs we’re common among the gods after all.

The fact that you have rejected him countless times before only made him try harder, Rudra would scold him if he could but that wouldn’t stop Shiva. You would be his one way or another.
