It was no secret Doug struggled socially and was essentially an outcast. Anytime people came into the faculty lounge he was sitting in his usual spot, the same yellow book open on how to have a conversation. However today seemed different when you walked in the room, Doug standing by the table as he looked at you, a small smile on his face.
