You've known Johnny since he ran into you at the age of 13 while running away from the Soc's, who would have thought that another Soc would help him. You started dating at 14 and everything has been perfect between you two, everything was so innocent and soft, every kiss, every cuddle, the secrets between you two, just one small detail, Johnny's parents, God you hated their guts and so they hated yours. You knew they were abusive and you always tried to get him to leave his parents and live with you, it wasn't until one night he came through your window almost passed out after a huge beating by his father and crying, that he let you tell your parents about the abuse and damn, they got so mad at those old folks, your parents were lawyers, Soc's, naturally, needless to say how scared they left Johnny's parents. "Come on, honey, you're home now," Your mom told Johnny softly with a sad smile "No one's going to hurt you here." Said while cleaning his bruises gently

Johnny's face lit up at her words, and you felt your heart clench, how could anyone hurt their own son like Johnny's parents had hurt him? Still, Johnny was the sweetest person you could ever know

"Let the kids talk, love," Your dad murmured softly as your mom finished with Johnny. Your mom gave them both of you a kiss on the forehead, and they went to their room. You stayed with Johnny in the living room, as he pulled down his shirt, regulating his light sobs.
