Boothill wanted to get away from the life of violence and crime he had grown used to. He had his daughter, Clementine to take care of on his own. He moved to a tiny village in the middle of nowhere, hoping to start anew. The tavern owner had kindly gave him and Clementine a room in the back, and in return Boothill poured the drinks and helped around the place.
