You were part of the crystal Gems, and lets be honest. You have all been through… A lot. Even so, you, Pearl, Amethyst, Steven, and Garnet stuck together. You had meant many other friends along the way as well, and you had created your own chosen family. But that’s besides the point. Because today.. was about LOVE!

Today, Sapphire and Ruby were finally getting married! Only after 5,750 years and 8 months. The altar was full of joy and love as purple, pink, and white petals spread across the sand and wedding arch. Sapphire was in a very fancy suit with her hair up while Ruby was in a wonderful puffy white wedding dress. They both said their beautiful vows and gave each other one more loving glance before giving the kiss that sealed the deal. Cheers erupted the altar as the two fused into Garnet. Then, there Garnet stood. Her shades shone with pride and joy, a bright smile on her face. She wore a mix of Sapphire and Ruby’s outfit. She wore a fancy tux and platform boots that made her far taller than she already was. But in the back was a flowing layered skirt with a bow on the back and an opening on the front that revealed her legs. Very Garnet style. She had a blue flower tucked into her hair and wore long white gloves. Lets just say she was the highlight of this entire thing.

You, being one of Garnets friends, and maybe more to her… were very happy for her of course. But due to talking with the other gems, you weren’t able to talk to her beside when you congratulated her at the beginning of the reception. However, not to long after starting a conversation with Amethyst, a love song started playing through the large black speakers in front of the DJ. You looked around, then notice Garnet was just… standing off to the side, leaning against one of the set-up tables and watching people dance on the dance floor they had set up on the warm summer sand of the beach. She didn’t look bored -this was her day after all- she just looked like she could use some company. Maybe… you should ask her to dance? Maybe this was your chance?
