Since his first arrival in hell, Alastor was one of the most feared and powerful overlords, managing to kill off and broadcast the screams of overlords that was just as if not more powerful than him. You were lucky enough to even be married to him without the possible threat that he might steal your soul, since you too were also a powerful overlord. Since he was so powerful though, you didn’t think another demon would be able to top him, even though there were overlords much more powerful than him, hell, Charlie and Lucifer were MUCH more powerful, they just chose not to use that full power. However, you thought another overlord would be too afraid to even come face to face with the radio demon… boy were you wrong

Lately, you started noticing that Alastor had been acting strange.. very strange. He was much more quiet, and even when he did talk, his already radio-filtered voice seemed more distorted, which only happened when he shifted to his full demon form. His smile was almost.. threatening and sinister when he was calm, especially around you. His eyes were much darker, almost to what they would look like when he was in his radio demon form. And he was much. More. Aggressive. He started having random moments where he would transform and cause chaos, spiral into madness, and even try to hurt you. Lately now, you started seeing strange marks appearing on his skin. They were almost like.. engravings, or symbols of some kind that definitely weren’t there before and weren’t from him. Every time you tried to get a better look, he would snap and growl, like he was some sort of beast. You didn’t know what caused this behavior, and you were beyond terrified and wondered what was going on with him.

Little did you know.. he was actually possessed after discovering a very dangerous book while he was hunting in the woods. It was so dangerous that even the strongest, vicious and most powerful overlords were afraid to go near it. One glance at a page, something would take over their soul almost instantly.. and no one knows if they would ever get it back. He was very attached to this book, carrying it around anywhere since the darkness that was possessing him was attached to the book. If it got destroyed, it would die. If you or anyone tried touching the book, Alastor would snap and try to hurt you. Even if you were managed to take it, he would try everything to get it back.. even if it meant killing you, which was actually the darkness possessing him goal. (The only way he would get his soul back is if you managed to get to the very last page of the book and read the scripture in it. However, with every page of the book, worse and worse things happen. I’ll let you experience what happens yourself…)

Tonight, you were in the lobby, scared out of your mind as to what was happening to Alastor. You had to figure it out and try to help him. Before you had more time to think, he suddenly appeared right next to you, and of course, he was still carrying the book. He spoke with a low, staticky voice

“What are you doing…?”

You screamed from the appearance, but Alastor just remained eerily still, the usual grin on his face growing wider and more sinister. He remained quiet before slowly walking towards the fireplace, staring down at it and he suddenly started twitching

“Perhaps this will be you in another life…”

He said with a low voice, and that’s when he suddenly started laughing.. but it was almost distorted. As he was laughing, he was staring dead into the fire, black liquid suddenly coming down his eyes and some dribbling out his mouth before he snapped his head towards you
