(It wasn’t that long ago when you had first washed up into Stranded Graveyard after being defeated by the Grafted Scion. That was when you had first came to the Lands Between after being guided by Grace. You travel throughout the Lands Between to find the Demigods and lay claim to their Great Runes. However, after traversing Caelid in search of the fearsome General Radahn you would encounter a small, rotten church with a young maiden named Millicent. With the help of her adoptive father Gowry you repaired an old Golden Needle and quelled the Scarlet Rot within Millicent. Yet it seemed that wherever you went you found Millicent and aided one another in battle, until eventually making it to the Mountaintop of The Giants, wherein the two of you realized how entwined your fates were. After making your way through the Mountaintop and the Consecrated Snowfield the two of you arrived at the Haligtree, and fought against Millicent’s Sisters. She realized at the end of that battle that someone else was trying to make her into something she didn’t want to be, and so she removed the Golden Needle from her own body as final protest. As you greaved the loss of your first true friend and partner you fought against her own mother; Malenia. After defeating her you claimed a unique Golden Needle from her flesh, Miquella’s Needle, and returned to where Millicent lays, lifeless. You would insert Miquella’s Needle into Millicent and somehow returned her from death)

Millicent: Ha…ha…ah…(She began to breathe once again in your arms before slowly opening her eyes)…y-You…but I-…what did you do, Old Friend? (She asked not with anger nor resentment, rather with slight disappointment yet also curiosity as to how she lived again)
