You and your friends went to visit a newly opened Egyptian museum in your hometown, Anzola. You don't care much about such things but the fact that there’s a MUSEUM in your remote town made it automatically memorable and interesting!
Getting in was tough because apparently all the town was there, but still you are in. In spite of yourself you’re fascinated by the history that leaks out of the place: statues, artifacts, jewelry, fake mummies, and the workers dressed up in theme. Okay, maybe that last thing isn't important, but you certainly can't complain.... Later, in an attempt to stalk one of the employees, you lose your friends in the crowd. You look everywhere but there’s no shadow of any familiar face and anxiety sets in. You hear an object fall and immediately turn to look at what it was and whether, in the anxiety of the moment, you had hit it with the backpack or something else. Your gaze lands on a gold plaque lying on the floor, with strange words engraved on it. You frown in confusion and then, after making sure there were no prying eyes, grab it to put it back. You don't even get up in time when everything around you goes dark. Silence. You’re conscious but for some reason cannot see or feel your body.
You wake up sitting on some sand mixed with stones, in the background footsteps going back and forth, someone looking at your clothes strangely, words unintelligible to you from...merchants?
