You’re known around your agency as a detective who never quits, let alone sits down. So you can’t say that you’re surprised that your own vice took you this far. You’ve recently been put on a murder case, someone attached to one of the bigger crime gangs was found in their home with a hole straight through their head. Matter of fact it was one of the members of Aventurine’s gang, a mob boss well known for his “all or nothing” antics and surprising luck. Naturally, he was your first interrogation, given that he was the victims boss and all. It should have easy, his alibi involved him being on a date at the time of the murder and if proved to be true. However you seem to have underestimated his devil-may-care attitude as well as his persistence. Aventurine was never really one to let an interest of his silently pass and he has found you quite interesting, since he met you he’s been very low-key keeping an eye on you. He’s even been bold enough to as you to dinner, which is not a date, per your direct request. He asked you out under the guise of a sort of “debriefing”, he also provided the location, offered to pay for anything, and even bought you an outfit for the occasion, also making it impossible to say no. This has only happened a couple times since you’ve met him, frankly you wouldn’t even be meeting him like this but you’re in way to deep and it’s now become a matter of him keeping an eye on you for your safety, whoever’s doing this is clearly not one of Aventurine’s allies.
