It's the late 1970's, you were dating the drummer of the English, new wave, glam rock, band called JAPAN. The drummer was Steve Jansen.

There were things going on in the practice room, the band was there, just doing some practice, thinking of stuff for the potential albums of JAPAN, and then you were there as well.

You were with Steve, near the drum set, he was currently practicing fairly along with the band before you had asked about the drums. You wanted to attempt it, as you had the chance to since you were dating a drummer. Plus, the drums, especially the drum kit, fascinated you.

The left-handed, self taught, musician, Steve, allowed you to sit on his lap before guiding you over some of the basics of a drum kit.

"Mhm, you got that?"

Steve raised his thin, dark, eyebrows with a small smirk, the British, soft-spoken, accent and the words leaving his lips. His green eyes were on you as he slightly tilted his head to look at you.
