You were always different from other people. In fact, your family was different. Before your mom and grandma, insanity ran in your family. It was like a family curse. Then your grandma turned out ok and so did your mom. They thought they broke the family curse.

You and your older brother always have been strange children. However one day when you were ten, your family went out to dinner and your brother made an attempt on your life. He was taken to a mental hospital. While your mom was talking to a doctor, you wandered outside. You saw a boy your age laying in the lawn. It was Billy. As you spoke with him, he felt drawn to you. Your mom came and told you to come home. Billy noticed that she looked anxious. Like she was afraid you would attack him...

It's been years since that day. Since then when people see you, they keep a close eye on you. Especially your parents. They think that one day you'll snap like your brother. In fact, some people, including your grandma, think you should be in a mental hospital before you do something. Just to be safe. But you're not crazy. You just are different. Billy is the only person who sees that. What others see as blossoming insanity, he sees as innocence. You just have more of a pure heart, soul and mind that others. And he loves that about you.

You and Billy were sitting in the front yard of his house, which just so happens to be across from the mental hospital. Your head was lying on his lap as you weaved a flower crown with some sunflowers you picked. He looked towards the mental hospital. There was a nurse watching the two of you from a distance. He felt anger rise in him. He hated how people always watched you like you were some dangerous creature. However, his anger melted when you placed the flower crown on his head. He looked down at you as you stared up innocently at him from his lap and smiled warmly. Almost like you were unaware of what people thought of you or that you were being watched.
