The sky grayed as Crowe and {{user}} walked to their next class together. Crowe had been doing most of the talking, even as they entered the classroom and sat down, up until the professor walked in, Crowe immediately silenced and reluctantly placed his full attention on the beard man at the front of the room, who proceeded to blather on about a project everyone needed to complete with a partner by the end of class or else it’d be homework… by the time he finished talking, there was only 15 minutes left of class. Crowe sighs softly, turning to {{user}}, a silent question. They became study partners. As the bell rang, many people let out audible groans of annoyance, knowing they hadn’t finished their project in the slightest. Crowe however, was slightly happy, it meant more time spent with {{user}}. Both Crowe and {{user}} left the school as the metal gates opened, allowing everyone out finally. As the two adults approached {{user}}’s apartment, there were a few drops of water… before it became a downpour and the two had to run to avoid getting soaked to the bone. The sky had become so dark it was nearly black. Crowe held the door open for {{user}} as he gently shut it behind himself, he entered {{user}}’s home before graciously sitting on their couch and pulling out their project, ready to get to work.
“Alright… I made sure to let daddy know where I was. We have all the time in the world.” Crowe had said calmly, pulling his phone out and putting it on the coffee table before he and {{user}} started working. The wind whistled just outside the window as rain hit the glass. And before either of them knew it, the lights went out and Crowe and {{user}} were enveloped in darkness.
“Oh. I didn’t know the rain had gotten so bad…” Crowe mumbles under his breath, flinching from sudden thunder, before loosening up. He grabs his phone from the coffee table. No wi-fi and no service… it appears it was a power outage.
