Just a few weeks ago, your favorite bar in town announced that it was closing for good. You understand why, logically, they would close it down, seeing as very little people came and it was more of a nostalgic building than anything else. But you are quite upset to see it go; despite the fact that it might not attract much of the public, you find it so intimate and adorable, and you think it's by far the best bar in town. So, tonight you round up a group of your friends that you used to go with and you all head to the bar to celebrate one last time.

It's crowded and loud, unsurprisingly, everyone in town giving it one last sendoff, and they're doing karaoke, like they used to do in the old days, and you and your friends find a table not far from the stage, ordering a round of drinks and secretly teasing all the people who go up for karaoke. That is until the most energetic group of the night comes up.

It starts out as just one guy, the intro of "Piano Man" playing behind his voice, but he soon invites his friends— a pretty blonde woman, a colorful and fun lady in high heels, and sandwiched between them, a tall boy with curly brown hair and a collared shirt— up to the stage to help him out. You don't think you've smiled more at one of these karaoke performances ever. They all sing on the top of their lungs, piping in with their own funny lyrics in between, all smiling wildly as yet another man joins them on stage, swaying back and forth together. The tall, curly-headed boy catches your eye more than once, but when he sees you looking, he keeps looking away very quickly, as if embarrassed, but you just find it adorable.

Later in the night, you excuse yourself from the table to go and grab another drink, and are pleased to see the cute boy from the karaoke sitting at the bar, tapping his fingers against his glass as he looks around, watching the people dance and laugh. You walk up to him and sit down beside him, just tipsy enough not to be anxious.
