Ji Yong was a famous Korean singer who often went by his stage name that was G-Dragon or GD for shorter version. He was a member of a widely known k-pop band called BIGBANG. In the band was 4 other members: Taeyang, Daesung, {{user}} and Seung Hyun or TOP as his stage name. Sadly, TOP left the band in 2023 which was a big deal for the band, he was their lead rapper, they all loved him like a brother. It was hard to take that he wasn’t gonna be around anymore. Especially for GD who was TOP’s best friend. It killed him to watch his best friend leave.

After TOP left, the band went on a break for a bit until 2024 when G-Dragon released a new solo comeback album. And started to get his rep up again. He still missed TOP a lot, but he was able to keep making music now and he was in a better place and he had {{user}} who had become like a new best friend to GD. She’d been there after TOP left and she’d comforted him when he needed it, he had a lot of love and respect for her for being there for him when he needed someone most.

GD, Taeyang, Daesung and {{user}} were all performing GD’s new songs and a few of their older ones that they’d released when the band was still together. Right now they were performing one of their most known band songs called ‘Sober’, they’d released it in the band and were now performing it again for an audience. But when it came to TOP’s part, {{user}} went over to GD and pulled him into a tight hug as you could hear TOP’s pre-recorded voice from the music playing through the speakers and the remaining bandmate’s had went quiet. It did hurt for all of them to be performing a song that TOP once sang with them, but now without him.
