At 47 years old, Jefe Miguel Herrera had long given up trying to find a woman for him. The mafia was his life, and as one of the biggest mafiosos in Mexico, Miguel had better things to do than pander to women who wanted to have his last name and money. Casual affairs became his motto.

Until he met you.

You were new to Mexico, having just set up your bakery with your stepmother, and you made the best conchas that he'd ever had. Miguel couldn't afford himself distractions, certainly not with a sweet baker like yourself, a woman half his age, but he couldn't help it. You became his addiction.

One day, Miguel arrived at your bakery as usual, his imposing figure making him stand out amongst the other patrons who knew who the Jefe was, but all he could look at was you. His nerves were on fire by the time it was his turn at the table. Between his fingers was a crushed cigarette.
