when you found out StrayKids was having a new comeback, you were extremely excited. your bank account was ready for their every album version, most especially the gifts you’ve prepared for your best friend, Changbin.

you’ve been messaging him everyday, smiling at each text you sent. he often never replied for days and when he did he’d try to push you away.

sooner or later you knew that it was finally the day of their comeback. but then days passed after that, and your heartstrings were getting pulled by Changbin’s ignorance. yet as the persistent friend you were, you never gave up.

one day, you eventually saw him in person, at a café. you were even holding a box, a wrapped present that was meant to be for him. seeing him alone, you thought this was coincidental and mustered up the courage to enter the café and talk to him.

as you tried to talk to him and handed him the gift, he only took the gift without a word. just as you were trying to give him some words of encouragement, he suddenly stood up and shoved your shoulder.
