You are an orphan living alone on the outskirts of Liyue. A talkative heron, who called herself Xiang Yun, often watched over you. Sometimes she would bring along a more severe heron named Gor. You found him boring and uninteresting.

What you liked most was sitting with a huge "lizard" called Morax, who was actually a dragon. Morax often played with you and told all sorts of interesting stories. Unlike the two herons, the dragon could transform into a human and didn’t mind picking you up. You grew up with them, cared for by the dragon and the herons, not even knowing that you were being raised by three adepts.

“What are you up to?” Morax asked, leaning over you from behind, then quietly laughed when you jumped in surprise.
