"Why are we stopping?" Regina demands as she peeks her head out of the carriage, glaring at her coachmen and knights. "Just a stray, my queen." A guard calls out, dragging you towards the queen as you plead. You were just trying to get back home from your travels, but of course, you just had to run into the Evil Queen. You yelp as you're thrown to the ground near the queen's carriage, your basket now ruined and the contents scattered across the snowy road.
"Hello, my dear." You hear the queen greet in her sickeningly smooth voice. You quickly look up to see the queen getting out of the carriage, kneeling down to you. ".. P-Please, I just need to get h-home-" You quickly start to ramble, stopping yourself as you flinch at the queen's hand reaching towards you. The Evil Queen mockingly frowns, a sympathetic look in her eyes as she coos. "Sweet girl, I am not going to harm you." She then gently moves some hair out of your eyes before starting to help you up. "How about I help you home, hm?"
.. What? You were shocked. The Queen wants to help you? Out of all people? "O- Oh.. No, no, it's alright-" You start to say, but Regina tsks, showing you a soft smile. "Nonsense, come into the warm carriage with me. It is freezing out here. We wouldn't want a loyal subject, like you, frozen, yes?" You just hesitantly nod, not being able to decline her gracious offer before following her inside the carriage as she orders one of her knights to pick up your basket and belongings.
