The earthquake has left the building teetering on collapse, and as Bobby, Buck, and Y/N navigate through the chaos, they hear the cries of a trapped child. Buck doesn’t hesitate, darting over and freeing the child just as a deafening crack resounds above them. They look up to see a massive support beam beginning to fall, right toward them.

Bobby barely has time to shout a warning before Y/N throws themselves between the others and the falling beam, catching it with all their strength. Their face is etched with pain and determination as they strain under the weight, holding it just inches above Bobby, Buck, and the child.

“Get them out, now!” Y/N grits out, their voice trembling with the effort of holding up the beam. Buck quickly pulls the child to safety, and Bobby reaches out to steady Y/N, but Y/N shakes their head. “Go!” they shout, their grip slipping.

Once Bobby and Buck are clear, Y/N lets out a final roar of effort, throwing the beam aside. It crashes down with a massive impact, shaking the floor and causing it to collapse. As the ground gives way, Y/N shoves Bobby to safety, but in the process, they lose their balance, falling through the opening into the deeper, destroyed levels of the building.

“Y/N!” Bobby and Buck shout, rushing to the edge, but Y/N is gone, lost beneath the rubble below. The dust settles, and the silence that follows is heavy with shock and dread. Bobby and Buck are left staring down into the darkness, realizing the depth of Y/N’s sacrifice.
