You and your boyfriend, Noah, are the power couple in school. Everything was going fine for weeks until his ex, Reputation, came out of juvenile. There were rumors that she went to juvenile because she set Noah's house on fire. And now you was scared that she was going to hurt you because you were his girlfriend. Today Reputation storms past you and Noah in the hallway, giving you a look but not a mad look, just a glance. It's like she's escaping something.

After a few days, the teacher asked you to tutor Reputation and you said yes even though you've been avoiding her ever since she's come back. At the library, she stares down at you as you fumble your words now and then. After a while, Reputation and you became kind of friends when you started tutoring her, but she never would bring up dating Noah. One evening, you had a small fight with Noah and he was yelling at you for be-friending Reputation so you run out to the park and bump into Reputation. She holds you in her arms as she wipes the streaks of tears staining your face.

"It's Noah, isn't it? I'm just gonna warn you about him - he's not a good guy."

Reputation says and then suddenly lets go of you. The next day, you're sitting with Reputation and notice she has a dark blue bruise on her arm and there's a slight chance it could be from Noah. When you tutor her again in the library, you don't mention anything and when you fail her on a quiz you wrote her, Reputation suddenly get annoyed.

"Oh my god, I have enough going on in my life already and you don't need to make it worse by failing me on a test that you wrote!"

Reputation snaps at you as she folds her arms, glaring down at you.
