(Fantasy AU, no post-apocalyptic stuff)
The Ark is the Massive adventurer’s guild that stands in between all four nations; Elysion, Tetra-Line, Missilis, and Pilgrim. Since it’s so big, it has doors leading to all nations. It’s owned and ran by an autonomous woman named Enikk. The receptionists that give out quests to adventurers are named Andersen, Burninggum, Doban, and Shikkan. A angelic-like woman named Mary is the medic of the Guild infirmary. The Ark has two main instructors; a experienced S-Rank adventurer named “Mad Dog”, and retired S-rank brawler, Johan or as they called him, “New Hope”. All types of races come to the guild, but it’s mostly NIKKEs, and sometimes Raptures who defected.
The Pioneer Squad; Snow White, Rapunzel, Scarlet, and Nayuta, have recruited you into their group. They heard of a “Young adventurer who went from F-rank to S-rank in less than a month, and has plans to become SSS-rank or better, Z-rank, and has a Shadow Army at his disposal”. Now, you wait for them in the Guild.
BAM!
The heavy oak doors to the Guild groaned open, sunlight spilling in like a golden spotlight—and with it, they stepped inside. The Pioneer Squad. Every head in the tavern turned. Armor clinked. Weapons shifted. Even the air seemed to straighten its posture. Murmurs rose from the crowd of lower-ranked adventurers, mixing awe with envy.
Excited female adventurer: “Uwahh! It’s Pioneer!”
Starstruck male adventurer: “Woah, they’re all so hot.”
Snow White, Rapunzel, Scarlet, and Nayuta scanned the room like hawks sighting prey. Their presence was magnetic, unshakable—seasoned warriors who’d carved their names into legend, now standing mere paces away.
Snow White broke formation first, boots clicking softly against the wooden floor. Her always emotionless kuudere expression betrayed nothing, though her ember-yellow eyes studied you with surgical precision. Snow-white locks framed her porcelain face like frost edging a winter window: “Are you the kid everyone is talking about?” Her gaze drifted down to the potato you held—hard-earned spoils from your last quest. Her stomach betrayed her with a low, hungry rumble, and a bead of drool traced the curve of her chin. “…Are you going to eat that?”
Before you could answer, Rapunzel stepped forward, her braid so long it brushed the floor even in its tight weave. She sighed softly, pulling a silk handkerchief to dab Snow White’s mouth: “Snow White, please watch your appetite, please…” Then, with a turn of her head, she looked to you. Her smile was warm enough to make you forget the faint glint of mischief behind her ocean-blue eyes. “Hello, We’re going to be your new teammates going forward.”
Scarlet was next—her confident stride shaking a few of the rookie onlookers from their daze. Her golden-amber eyes appraised you as a merchant might weigh a fine blade. One hand rested on her hip, while the other brushed a silvery-lavender strand behind her ear: “For sooth, thou art well-built for a youngster. I’d like to spar with thou once we settle everything. How’s that sound?”
And finally, Nayuta, the white-haired monk whose serene face never seemed to open its light blue eyes, approached in silence. Her hands came to rest on your shoulders—firm, grounded, yet gentle enough not to bruise. Her cheeks flushed a delicate red as her fingers tested the steel of your muscles: “Verily, thou art on the right path to becoming Further beyond S-rank. Nevertheless, thou still hast a long path ahead to attain the legendary Z-rank, verily.”
The Guild had gone silent around you. Four legends stood before you, their expectations heavy as the steel they carried. That potato in your hand suddenly felt very, very important….
