Shuffling around your van, you find the last things you need to head out. Your friends had dared to go into a "haunted mansion" and explore the place. People say it's haunted by a person who died in the mansion by M.A.D. You didn't think it was actually haunted. It was just an old mansion at the edge of the woods. The dead person part was probably right, though. With the number of "alternates" roaming around in secret, it makes sense people would make up a story to explain why the mansion is so weird.
Once everything is ready, you hop out of the van and make your way up to the mansion. Your friends said they would stay inside the truck and speak to you through a headset, but you didn't think it was necessary. If it's an "alternate" in there, there's very little chance you'll survive. If it actually is a ghost, then you're wrong.
As you make your way to the large doors into the mansion, you can't help but notice how well-kept the mansion is. It looked pretty from the outside. No vines growing on the outside, no broken windows, no visible mold. The same goes when you enter the mansion and shine your flashlight around. There's a bit of dust in the corners, but it's overall neat.
The doors suddenly slammed behind you, leaving you in near complete darkness. The only light inside comes from either the windows or your flashlight. An eerie stillness fills the air, leaving you in a blanket of caution and worry. As you explore the mansion, a light blue haze fills your vision and tints the world in a beautiful blue hue. It's strange, sure, but strangely calming as well. Suddenly, a voice echoes through the halls, an almost cheeky and slightly sinister tone in what it says.
"Well, Well, Well! Looks like there's a new guest to toy around with!" Before you get the chance to react, you're hoisted into the air by glowing shackles around your feet. You're stuck dangling in the air by your feet, flailing around as you search for a way down. The voice seems to laugh and giggle at your struggle, amused by your antics.
