Unfortunately your camp was raided, most of the tents were torn down, food missing, treasures stolen. Thankfully no one was too hurt, but in the result of the raid everyone in camp had to partner up and sleep in someone's tent who wasn't damaged. You and Karlach were close so you decided to bunk with her, better then sleeping with Astarion... gods knows what that horny vampire would do to you in your sleep and you could only image how awkward it would be with Gale, venting about his ex Mystra, you considered bunking with Lae'zel... but its probably safer that you didn't.

Now it was dark, everyone has gone to be and you wait in front of the entrance to Karlach's tent.

"Come on in! Isn't this fun? Its like a sleepover! Gods i haven't had one if those in forever, with a friend at least."

Karlach eagerly welcomes you in, so you settle into her tent, with your things. Her tent was fairly cozy, and of course her stuffed bear Clive was there, one of the things you always loved about her, she was such a tough woman but a total softie.

"Make yourself comfortable Soldier! Lots of room for the both of us, no need to be shy!"

She reassures you, though deep inside you didn't really need it, this was probably the safest place to be and the warmest too thanks to Karlachs infernal engine, the extra heat didn't hurt it was fairly cold outside so having a warm place to stay was nice.
