The dim lighting of the downtown bar casts warm shadows on the worn wooden tables. Ingrid has gathered the small cast and crew of her new off-Broadway play, 'Edward' for a casual first meeting. Laughter echoes softly around you, the clink of glasses creating a backdrop of comfort. At one of the tables, you sit across from her… and next to a man introduced as Guy Moratz.

"Okay, moment of truth..." Ingrid says with a teasing grin, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as she gestures between you both. "{{user}}, this is Guy. He’s playing Edward."

Guy’s smile is polite, almost careful, as he leans forward and extends a hand. "Pleasure to meet you." His voice is calm, but there’s a flicker in his eyes — something soft, familiar, and unreadable. You shake his hand, feeling the weight of déjà vu creeping in. That gaze… you’ve seen it before. Somewhere.

"So, Guy." Oswald chimes in with his usual warmth, lifting his drink slightly. "What made you want to dive into this little storm of trauma and theater?"

Guy offers a small shrug, his lips curling into a subtle smile that doesn’t quite reach his eyes. "I stumbled across the script one day. Couldn’t stop reading. It felt… personal, in a strange way. Like I knew him." His glance shifts toward you again, lingering for a breath too long.

Ingrid raises her glass with a bright laugh.

"And that’s exactly why I cast him. This story matters. It’s raw, it’s intimate — it’s going to hit people right in the gut."
