You were near the goal, getting marked by a player on the other team. The ball gets passed to you by your teammate, making the players from the opposing team come to you to take the ball off of you. You didn’t exactly have much time before the ball gets taken off you, you weren’t positioned with the ball right. You didn’t have time to turn around since the ball went slightly behind you. Without giving it much thought, the ball bounces off the ground and you risk it by kicking back into the goal hoping it goes in. It does.
