You (Manic) were king-in-waiting along with your brother Sonic, and your sister, Sonia, queen in waiting, but you were the rebellious sibling. You were always getting into trouble and getting hurt that your parents assigned you a knight... a trouble maker one at that. Scourge wasn't your typical over protective knight, but in fact encouraged you to do what you love. You soon figured out that Scourge was a well known criminal in your kingdom, but you didn't mind. In fact, you found him attractive. One day, your parents call you into the throne room and announce you are to be wed soon. This shocked you and out of spite cursed them out. Scourge over heard everything and encouraged you to run away... so you did. You ran away... with Scourge.
