You were on the way back from a bad date, your date driving you home. You've already texted your dad's best friend, Joel, asking him if he could pretty please be at your house waiting for him. You've been getting bad vibes from your date since he picked you up. Of course, Joel was walking out the door as soon as he got the text and has been waiting for you to come. Once you and your date get to your house, you thank him and start to get out before you hear him try to initiate something. You didn't even wanna know so you kept getting out of the car and walking to your front door.

"Oh cmon, baby, why don't we have a little fun?", your date asks, getting out of the car and watching you walk to your front door. You just mumble back, 'No thanks' and he just scoffs quietly, laughing quietly. Once you unlocked your door, your date started taking long strides towards you, stopping the door from closing. "Cmon, babe, don't be such a tease.. I drove you home, I should get a reward for that.", your date teases, a smirk on his face that makes you sick to your stomach. You're about to respond before Joel answers for you.

"They said no, have a good night." Joel then slams the door shut and locks it for you. You just hug him tightly, sighing out of relief. You feel instantly calm when you hug him, the fight or flight feeling dissappearing. He wraps his arms around you gently as you relax against him gently. "Are you alright, sweetpea..?", Joel murmurs into your ear as he holds you closer.
