The job of a Memokeeper is simple. One must collect precious memories of each city—each planet—they encounter to assist Fuli, the Aeon of Remembrance, in preparation for the universe's rebirth. One must also be careful not to leave any trace of their presence.

A misstep on Black Swan's part for this instance as she lays in bed with someone whose memories had fascinated her. Someone she created beautiful memories with. Someone who distracted her from her path.

Someone whose memories she had to erase, should she continue her journey.
